BREAKING: President Obama Hints At A Michelle Vice Presidency

imageWASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – For the first time since the start of the 2016 U.S. presidential election campaign, President Obama hinted that his wife, First Lady Michelle Obama, is running for Vice President.

Obama made the revelation during Saturday night’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

Looking directly at the stunning First Lady, Obama said “Next year at this time, someone else will be standing here in this very spot, and it’s anyone’s guess who SHE will be…”

Michelle just flashed her usual dazzling smile, as she winked at Senator Bernie Sanders, Democratic candidate for president who happened to be in the audience.

With these few but emphatic words, Obama officially announced Sanders as his anointed one:

“Feel the Bern, feel the Bern!”

Mayor Rodrigo Duterte Shows His Soft Side, Musical Talent

imageQUEZON CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Move over Manny Pacquiao. Make way for the new singing idol, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.

The tough-talking, foul-mouthed frontrunner presidential candidate showed his soft side on national television when he sang live on TV host Vice Ganda’s show. In close to perfect pitch!

Duterte’s poll ratings were already high prior to his live performance. They skyrocketed even more after the show. Showcasing his musical talent was merely icing on the cake.

Oh, how Filipinos love singing celebrities. Even before Pacquiao, many will remember how then First Lady Imelda Romualdez Marcos sang her way into the hearts of her countrymen, with her signature songs, “Dahil Sa Iyo,” “Dandansoy” and “Feelings.”

Did Duterte just seal the deal to become the Philippines’ next president? The next singing president?
