NEWLY-CROWNED MISS PHILIPPINES REDEFINES INTERNET CENSORSHIP

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles) – In beauty pageants, the final question can make or break a candidate’s quest for the crown. For Pia Wurtzbach, newly-crowned Binibining Pilipinas Universe (Miss Philippines Universe), her answer to the final question made her a queen. But it broke the definition of Internet censorship as we know it.

During the final Q&A portion of last night’s glittering ceremony to choose the Philippines’ candidate to the prestigious Miss Universe Pageant, Wurtzbach was asked her thoughts about Internet censorship.

With great confidence, Wurtzbach said “we should be careful what we post on the Internet … especially selfies…” “We should think before we click.”

The rest is history. She won the crown.

Now, both the Webster’s and Oxford Dictionaries are scrambling to revise the definition of censorship with this new entry:

CENSORSHIP – (noun) cen·sor·ship \ˈsen(t)-sər-ˌship\ – the act of thinking before clicking.
