HILLARY CLINTON JUST PREDICTED THE OUTCOME OF THE PACQUIAO-MAYWEATHER CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHT! (VIDEO)

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles) – ‘America needs a champion, and I wanna be that champion.’  With those words, former First Lady, Senator from New York and Secretary of State formally announced that she was running for president of the United States in 2016.

But with those same words, she  also predicted the outcome of the May 2nd championship boxing match between American Floyd Mayweather and Filipino Manny Pacquiao.

Clinton all but predicted that the winner for this ‘Fight of the Century’ will not be the American champion, but the Filipino champion. (Hence, the statement that ‘America needs a champion.’)

The Hillary campaign told The Adobo Chronicles that the former First Lady is negotiating with Pacquiao for the champion boxer to star in her upcoming political campaign video immediately after the Filipino is crowned the winner in the Las Vegas fight.

The video is titled, ‘From one champion to another: Victory for Manny and Hillary.’

PACQUIAO FANS PROTEST BOXER’S ‘NO SELFIE’ POLICY

Photo credit: Examiner.comSANTA MONICA, California (The Adobo Chronicles) – Hundreds of fans of  Manny Pacquiao — mostly Filipinos — picketed blocks and blocks of the Pacific Coast Highway near Santa Monica where the boxer jogs most mornings as part of his training in preparation for his fight with American Floyd Mayweather.

The “Fight of the Century” is scheduled on May 2, 2015 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

The reason for the picket?

The Filipino fans are protesting a new ‘no selfie policy,’ promulgated by the boxer’s training camp.

Each morning, hundreds of Pacquiao fans try to follow the boxer during his morning run in the hopes of taking a selfie with their hero.

One of the protesters, a Filipino veteran who has lived in L.A. for almost 40 years, said that the ‘no selfie’ policy deprives the fans of the rare opportunity to have their photos taken with their boxing idol. “A selfie with Pacman is a treasure that I can proudly show to my grandchildren,” he said.

The Pacquiao camp explained that the new policy is designed to ensure that the boxer will not come in contact with any fan who might be suffering from a cold or some other infection. “We can’t afford to have Manny get sick even for just a day.  We need him every single day for his training until fight day,” a spokesman for Pacquiao said.

A few disgruntled fans who were turned away after they attempted to take a selfie with Pacquiao said that they will now cheer for Mayweather instead.

A little sour grapes there, eh?

(VIDEO) MAYWEATHER WANTS PAY-PER-VIEW BOXING BOUT PROMO WITH PACQUIAO REVISED

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (The Adobo Chronicles) – The countdown has begun for what is being billed ‘The Fight of the Century,’ between American Floyd Mayweather and Filipino Manny Pacquiao.

The boxing bout between  between the eight-division world champion Pacquiao and the undefeated five-division world champion Mayweather unfolds at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on May 2, 2015.

Already, MGM has announced a sold-out crowd, while millions more around the world are expected to watch the fight on Pay-Per-View (PPV).  PPV has been aggressively promoting the fight with an impressive 30-second promo video.

But Mayweather is not happy about the  video.  It shows him and Pacquiao walking towards each other, looking intensely at each other, and showing the world they are  ready to knock each other out.

The American boxer, however, has demanded a re-shoot of the video because he says he was ‘duped.’

“PPV producers asked me to show up all sweaty for the shoot, only to find out they didn’t ask the same of Pacquiao.  Now it appears that I am nervous and fearful about the fight, which is definitely not the case,” Mayweather said.

Mayweather also told reporters that he was asked to show a somewhat smiley face to look more attractive to the viewers, while Pacquiao was instructed to look as fierce as a raging eagle.

“It’s just not a fair portrayal of myself,” Mayweather added.

When asked about Mayweather’s demand, Pacquiao simply smiled and made the sign of the cross.
