Snubbed From The Davao Vloggers Summit?

In the latest chapter of political loyalty, the winds of change are blowing through the anti-Marcos and pro-Duterte camps like a gale force of irony. As our little fly on the wall whispers, the exclusion of prominent figures like Sass Rogando Sasot, Bb. Maharlika, Mark Lopez, KLC, Jam Magno, Ping Ping Tweets and Glenn Chong from the prestigious vloggers summit in Davao City has caused a seismic rift.

It seems that the allure of the summit, orchestrated by the appointed son of God Pastor Apollo Quiboloy and his appointed administrator, has led to a mass exodus of former loyalists. Even once staunch supporters like Harry Roque and Sal Panelo find themselves cast aside like yesterday’s newsprint.

Meanwhile, those fortunate enough to secure an invitation are gleefully parading their allegiance, boasting of their photo ops with the power duo. Sold souls and flaunted alliances seem to be the currency of the day, leaving many wondering if principles were ever part of the political equation.

A Davao Summit Like No Other

In a surreal display of influencer insanity, Davao witnessed what seemed like a summit of the highest-paid vloggers, complete with the unlikely duo of Rodrigo Duterte and the self-proclaimed son of God, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.

One could almost hear the cash registers ringing in the background as the three takeaways emerged from this circus of vanity.

Firstly, Quiboloy emerges from his supposed hiding, presumably taking a break from his celestial duties to hobnob with earthly influencers.

Secondly, Duterte, in a move that surprises no one, continues to operate under the delusion that he’s still the president, perhaps hoping for one last shot at the limelight.

Lastly, and perhaps most depressingly, some vloggers appear to have auctioned off their moral compasses to the highest bidder, selling their souls to the devil himself for a few extra likes and subscribers, not to mention a paycheck.

Truly, a summit of shameless self-promotion and moral bankruptcy.

SMNI News Incites, Not Informs

In a stunning display of journalistic acrobatics, SMNI News, purporting to be a beacon of truth, has shamelessly transformed into a cheerleader for political pandemonium.

Gone are the days of impartial reporting; now, they lead the charge, not with pens, but with protest signs. How noble of them to trade their press passes for placards.

It’s as if they’ve mistaken their newsroom for a war room, orchestrating rallies instead of headlines. But hold on, isn’t journalism supposed to be about uncovering truths, not orchestrating political dramas?

But alas, SMNI News seems to have missed the memo. Instead of upholding the sacred duty of informing the public, they’ve opted for the dubious honor of attacking a duly-constituted government, all under the guise of a “prayer rally.” How divine, indeed, to see them kneel in devotion to their embattled owner, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, while conveniently ignoring their sacred duty to truth.

Truly, a prayer for journalistic integrity is in order – preferably one not led by SMNI News.
