Google Glitch: A Search for ‘Kingmaker’ Turns Up Imelda!

So, I recently searched for “Kingmaker,” the book about Atty. Vic Rodriguez, the former Marcos Executive Secretary with grand dreams of becoming a senator. But guess what? Google had other plans. Instead of Vic’s book, the search results kept showing a book about Imelda Marcos!

Maybe Google knows something we don’t? The search giant seems to have a sixth sense about who the real kingmaker is. After all, Imelda isn’t just a former first lady—she’s also the mother of the reigning king, Bongbong Marcos! Could Google be subtly hinting that Imelda, not Vic, really pulls the strings in the Marcos dynasty?

So, while Vic’s book fades into oblivion, Google’s glitch might just be a genius political commentary. Who needs a kingmaker when you’ve got the queen mother herself leading the charge? Talk about a royal mix-up!

Once a powerful figure in the Marcos administration, former Executive Secretary Vic Rodriguez now finds himself struggling to hold onto relevance. Dubbed a “kingmaker” for his role in President Bongbong Marcos’ rise to power, Rodriguez is now desperately seeking a Senate seat—a campaign that appears doomed from the start.

Despite his past influence, his bid for the Senate has been met with indifference. Lacking a strong political base and overshadowed by more prominent candidates, Rodriguez has resorted to pleading with his dwindling supporters to help salvage his ambitions. His appeal, however, has largely fallen on deaf ears.

Much like his book, which faded into obscurity, Rodriguez’s political aspirations seem headed in the same direction. Once at the center of power, he now faces the harsh reality of political irrelevance. His struggle to transform from kingmaker to king is proving to be an impossible dream.
