Idiotic Memes And Gutter Language Do Not Socmed Influencers Make

An Ode To Sass and Maharlika

In the land of tweets and memes,
Where intellect once reigned supreme,
Now gutter language fills the screen,
As idiocy becomes the theme.

Maharlika and Sass Rogando Sasot,
With click-bait lines, they cast their lot,
Gone are the days of reasoned thought,
Replaced by nonsense, dearly bought.

Oh, where have the influencers gone,
Who graced the web with truth’s bright dawn?
Now we drown in a sea of lies,
As intelligence fades and reason dies.

But fear not, for hope still gleams,
Amidst the chaos and shattered dreams,
For in the heart of every mind,
The quest for truth, we’ll surely find.

Politique PH Tuesday: To Love And Protect One’s Self

In her recent tête-à-tête with Ka Tunying , First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos made a startling revelation: she boasts a modest entourage of just four PSG members. Meanwhile, she said there’s a certain cabinet “bigwig” strutting about with a whopping 40 PSG members in tow. 💼👑

Picture this: the president himself makes do with a mere six close-in security personnel, while our esteemed First Lady manages with just four. Yet this cabinet luminary parades around with a small army of 40, including private security and military personnel from here, there, and everywhere.

Does she fancy herself superior to the president, I wonder? And who foots the bill for this extravagant security detail—the taxpayers or her own pockets? 💰🤔

Do you recall that infamous day when Manila’s traffic ground to a halt because the Vice President was scheduled to pass through? With her entourage of 40+ security personnel, it seems the rumors were more than mere gossip. Her denial, then, was nothing but a feeble attempt to shield herself from the spotlight of prima donna behavior. 🚗🛑💁‍♀️

But wait, there’s more! Not only does she remain conspicuously mum on matters concerning the West Philippine Sea, hinting at a rather cozy relationship with China, but there’s also the lingering mystery of the elusive P125 million confidential funds. And let’s not overlook the burning question: just HOW MUCH and HOW MANY beauticians does it take to turn her looks from this into this? 💄💅🔍

FACT CHECK: Inquirer Takes FL Statement On Romania Out Of Context

Screenshot

Shame on Inquirer.net for creating a headline that takes First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos’ statement during her interview with Anthony Taberna a.k.a. Ka Tunying where she mentioned Romania, out of context.

Inquirer’s headline maliciously insinuates that the First Couple could “hire Romanians” to deal with their critics, notably the anti- Marcos v/bloggers.

Taberna was asking if FL had any plans of meeting online criticism head on to which Marcos said it would be easy to call Romania, but she immediately added: “it (the attacks) has to stop.” During the interview she also made clear the First Couple have no intentions of taking any legal action against bashers.

Here’s the context:

Romania is among the top countries in the world known for online hackers. FL was merely saying that it would be easy for the First Couple to “call Romania” presumably to take down accounts or blogs of critics (like Maharlika Atty. Glenn Chong and Sass Rogando Sasot).

FL could have said “China “ which is the number one country in terms of “hackers,” but it would have been out of context just the same.
