They point to his predecessor, Rodrigo Duterte, who supposedly stealthily attended multiple concerts during his tenure. Rumor has it that Duterte, the man of the people, opted for the humble MRT or a daring motorcycle ride to reach his musical rendezvous.

It appears that the nation’s moral compass is now determined by one’s mode of transportation to concerts rather than addressing pressing issues. Perhaps, in this wild political symphony, the real question should be whether the president’s chopper playlist included more than just Coldplay hits.

Apparently, protecting the president extends to securing the best seats at concerts too.

Let’s address the faux outrage: Marcos did not break any laws by utilizing the presidential chopper for a night of musical indulgence. It’s his flying chariot, darn it! Some argue that U.S. presidents use their helicopters for vacations—well, our president is just ahead of the curve, enjoying airborne entertainment.

Now, let’s compare this to Kris Aquino’s helicopter exploits. While Marcos was chilling to Coldplay, Kris took a detour to Liberal Party campaigns, a move that raises eyebrows faster than her brother’s chopper. 

Talk about hitting all the wrong notes in the political symphony. So, let’s keep our priorities straight and focus on the real travesty: mismatched helicopters for inappropriate events.
