Atty. Glenn Chong Ignorant Of The Law?

Screenshot

Atty. Glenn Chong’s recent antics in the political theater seem to have taken a bizarre turn into the realm of slapstick comedy, quite literally.

In what can only be described as a peculiar display of misplaced bravado, Chong openly expressed his desire to slap First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos during a prayer rally. One might assume he missed the memo that assault isn’t a pious practice.

But it gets better – or worse, depending on your perspective. Chong then backpedaled, claiming he merely intended to commit the assault, but someone else took the initiative.

Bravo, Atty. Chong, for proving that even in the world of attempted battery, your legal prowess knows no bounds. It’s a masterclass in self-incrimination disguised as political discourse.

Perhaps Atty. Chong should consider redirecting his energies towards studying the law rather than unwittingly becoming a case study in it.

After all, in the court of public opinion, ignorance may not be bliss, but it sure is entertaining.

Clickbaiter Atty. Harry Roque!

Attorney Harry Roque, the maestro of speculative musings, has once again graced us with his unique brand of clickbait-worthy commentary.

In his recent oration, he astutely reminds us that the possibility of martial law looms over the Philippines like a shadow in the moonlight, conveniently neglecting the nuanced dance between legal possibility and practical probability.

Yes, dear citizens, the constitution does indeed offer our dear leaders the tantalizing option to flex their authoritarian muscles. But alas, just because one possesses the power to press the big red button labeled “Martial Law” doesn’t mean it should be treated like a game of political whack-a-mole.

Roque’s whimsical dalliance with hypotheticals serves as a gentle reminder that in the grand theater of Philippine politics, speculation often masquerades as insight, and clickbait masquerades as analysis.

So let us raise our eyebrows in unison and applaud the virtuoso performance of our legal jester, for in his words, we find not just amusement, but a profound sense of… well, something.
