Bohol Chocolate Hills Resort: Did The Chicken Come Before The Egg?

Screenshot

In a surprising twist of bureaucratic incompetence, the Philippine Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) has finally mustered the energy to acknowledge the glaring violation of environmental laws by a resort conveniently nestled beside the majestic Chocolate Hills of Bohol.

As the internet explodes with outrage, DENR’s belated statement serves as a futile attempt at damage control, reminiscent of a janitor mopping up a spilled milkshake after the cow has bolted the barn. One can’t help but wonder, did the DENR misplace its magnifying glass or were they too preoccupied playing hide-and-seek with their responsibilities?

The sight of a towering resort being built amidst nature’s marvels begs the philosophical query: which came first, the chicken or the egg?

It’s a tragicomedy of errors, showcasing the efficiency of government agencies in promptly turning a blind eye, perhaps conveniently blinded by the allure of undisclosed party favors.

Even Centenarians And Robots Have Sexual Desires!

The recent incidents involving centenarian tattoo artist Apo Whang-od and actor Piolo Pascual, as well as Saudi Arabia’s first male robot and a reporter, highlight the complex and diverse nature of human sexuality, extending even to interactions with non-human entities like robots.

These occurrences serve as reminders that sexuality is an integral aspect of human and, apparently, robotic behavior, transcending age, gender, and even species. Despite societal taboos and norms surrounding sexual expression, these incidents underscore the innate and universal nature of sexual desire and attraction.

While some may view such interactions with shock or amusement, they ultimately reflect the multifaceted and sometimes unpredictable ways in which humans and non-humans navigate their sexual identities and interactions.

As such, these incidents prompt us to consider the intricacies and nuances of sexuality, acknowledging its significance as a fundamental aspect of human and robotic existence.

Bato De La Rosa’s Defense Of Quiboloy Sheds Spotlight On ICC Issue.

Senator Bato de la Rosa’s defense of Apollo Quiboloy, claiming him to be a paragon of virtue, is as baffling as it is comical.

Apparently, in the senator’s universe, being “respected” equates to being above reproach, regardless of mounting accusations. One wonders if de la Rosa received his legal degree from the School of Blind Loyalty rather than a reputable institution.

Does he lack faith in the Philippine justice system or merely in his ability to comprehend it?

By championing Quiboloy’s innocence, de la Rosa inadvertently fans the flames of international scrutiny, providing fodder for ICC investigations into human rights abuses. But he has the infallible defense: Duterte nor I can’t possibly do bad things!

Bravo, Senator Bato, for inadvertently shining a spotlight on the very issues you hoped to bury in the annals of blind allegiance.
