An Ode To The First Lady And A Gentleman

In the Palace hall of grand debate,

A gesture fine, but quite ornate,

A glass of wine, a sip so pure,

To show a bond that’s deep and sure.

“Here, dear First Lady, take a taste,”

With gallant flair and solemn haste,

The Senate’s head, with wine in hand,

Proclaimed a bond across the land.

She sipped, she smiled, returned the glass,

A symbol strong of power’s class.

Eastern rites, with honor steeped,

And intimacies subtly peeped.

In ancient courts, they’d toast the king,

A pledge of life and everything.

At weddings too, the lovers drink,

From shared cups, their hearts in sync.

Even Jesus let His Disciples drink from His cup,

So let no one bring intrigue to make up.

An Ode To Mayor Basté Duterte’s Suspension

In Davao’s city bright and fair,
A mayor was suspended, oh what a scare!
’Twas Harry Roque, with vloggers in tow,
Proclaimed it loudly, for clicks to grow.

Once a spokesman, now a gossip king,
He joins the fray with quite a zing.
Maharlika and Sass in his crew,
Chasing rumors, old and new.

Mayor Baste, caught in the whirl,
Confirmed it himself, no truth to unfurl.
A clickbait tale, spun just for show,
In the world of gossip, truth runs slow.

Roque’s fame, now a sparkling gem,
Among the vloggers, he’s one of them.
From palace halls to internet’s lore,
Oh, the drama, they all adore.

So here’s a toast to the gossip train,
Where facts are lost, and myths reign.
A satire dance in the digital light,
Where rumors thrive, and truth takes flight.

You’re So Vain, You Think The Post Is About Bongbong Marcos

In the realm of cyberspace, where opinions roam free,

Pro-Duterte netizens, with fervor, decree.

They repost with gusto, each quote and each meme,

Thinking it praises their idol, their esteemed.

But oh, how they falter, in their blind admiration,

For the jabs they applaud, fuel their own vexation.

They share without reading, without pause or reflection,

Unaware it’s their leader facing the deflection.

“You’re so vain,” rings the chorus, in satirical delight,

As they champion Duterte, in their digital fight.

But the joke’s on them, as they fail to see through,

The irony of it all, as they misconstrue.

So they march on unknowing, in their online parade,

Championing a cause, so woefully mislaid.

Oh, Duterte’s disciples, how little they knew,

The joke was on them, all along, so true.
