BAGUIO CITY,Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Baguio City Bureau) – The SM Mall in Baguio City, Philippines may not be the largest in the Philippines but it has the distinction of being the most climate-friendly in all of Asia, and perhaps the entire world.
It boasts of an in-mall swimming pool which collects water from the rain. The heavier the rain, the deeper the pool becomes.
The Adobo Chronicles team shot this video on Sunday as moderate rain began to fill the pool located at the mall’s first-floor rotunda, to the delight of shoppers and vendors alike.

STOCKHOLM, Sweden (The Adobo Chronicles, Berlin Bureau) – While you all were sleeping on June 21, 2018, a top climate scientist warned that the end of the world will finally happen in 5 years!
This prediction was even tweeted by climate change activist, Swedish Greta Thunberg.
No one listened to the scientist or Thunberg. The use of fossil fuels has not stopped nor diminished.
Now it may be too late. Humanity is finally coming to an end on June 21, 2023, exactly 5 years to the day when the prediction was made.

MOSCOW, Russia (The Adobo Chronicles) – Russia on Sunday said it had destroyed at least seven German-made Leopard tanks and five U.S.-made Bradley vehicles over 48 hours while repelling Ukrainian attacks.
Almost immediately, Swedish environmental activist sent a very strong and direct message to Vladimir Putin, asking the Russian president to stop destroying leopards.
In a Messenger chat with The Adobo Chronicles, Thunberg lamented the killing of wild animals which provide a necessary and healthy balance to the environment.
But when we showed photos of Leopard tanks, Thunberg abruptly dropped from our conversation.
