Senator Ronald Bato’s Impeccable Solution To Philippines’ Foreign Debt (Video)!

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Two Ronalds, two economics.

Ronald Reagan is credited for his brand of economics for America. Ronald de la Rosa has his own for the Philippines. From Reaganomics to Batonomics.

During a recent Senate hearing, Senator de la Rosa proposed an impeccable solution to the country’s foreign debt problem.

He suggested that Filipinos give birth to more babies in order for the per capita debt of the Philippines to be significantly decreased.

The larger the population, the more people will share in the foreign debt, the senator said.

Ayungin Shoal Eyed As PDL Barrio!

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Just hours after Bureau of Corrections Chief Gregorio Catapang Jr. said he is seeking to create a barrio where persons deprived of liberty (PDL) will be allowed to live with their families while serving their sentence, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) offered the Ayungin Shoal in the disputed South China Sea territory as the most appropriate site for said barrio.

PCG said Ayungin Shoal is ideal for the plan since PDLs will have no means to escape while at the same time sending a message to China that the island belongs to the Philippines.

Family members of PDLs will also have the opportunity to fish for their food to complement supply shipment from the Philippine government.

Is this shooting two birds with one bullet on the part of the Philippines?

Camella Homes To Partner With Bureau Of Corrections To Create A PDL Barrio!

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Camella Homes, a real estate and subdivision company owned by Senator Cynthia Villar and family has entered into a cooperative agreement with the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) for the establishment of a barrio where persons deprived of liberty (PDL) will be allowed to live with their families while serving their sentence.

Villar made the announcement following BuCor Director General Gregorio Catapang Jr. revealed his plan to create said barrio for incarcerated Filipinos and their families.

In an interview with The Adobo Chronicles, Villar said she and her real estate planners already have a mock-up of what the said barrio will look like.

Among other things, the barrio will be self-sustaining, built within a subdivision with high security walls and CCTV, and having all the amenities needed for the inmates and their families’ survival — including a supermarket, bank, hospital, beauty parlor, mini-department store, inter-faith chapel and a gym.

Camella Homes has already identified a suitable site for the barrio, to be built on reclamation land
