Marcos.

Robredo was asked to share her thoughts and experiences regarding the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution that toppled the regime of Marcos, forcing him out of the country to an exile in Hawaii.

In her lecture, Robredo said of the People Power Revolution:

Leave it to the Vice President to conclude what was started in 1986.

Duterte, Aquino Endorse Senatorial Candidates For 2019

It goes without saying that Kris Aquino has the endorsement of her brother, former President NoyNoy Aquino.

Without asking for it, singer and actress Sharon Cuneta got the endorsement of her life from no less than President Rodrigo Duterte, something that her husband, Opposition Senator Kiko Pangilinan is not happy about.

Well, deal with it, Senator Pangilinan.

U.P. Students To Take Their Naked Oblation Run To EDSA On February 25

A9419112-9DC5-418A-90B5-1D83A28633F0.jpegQUEZON CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Organizers of this year’s EDSA People’s Power anniversary are getting desperate about making the commemoration a well-attended event.  Attendance at these annual protest rallies has been diminishing year after year.

But despair no more.

Today, the organizers signed a memorandum of agreement with student activists at the University of the Philippines to hold the annual Oblation Run at the Diliman campus at EDSA instead, in conjunction with the February 25 People Power commemoration.

The Oblation Run is a popular event at U.P. Diliman where activist students run naked around the campus to bring attention not only to their ugly bodies but also to national political issues.

Organizers hope that with the addition of the naked run in this year’s EDSA People Power anniversary, they can attract up to one million people.  “After all, you don’t get to see naked men running around en masse every day,” they said.
