A8B3ED93-BCEA-4858-92C2-98A24EE2624A.jpegMANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Senators Bam Aquino and Risa Hontiveros just filed a new Senate Bill naming the University of the Philippines and De La Salle University the new “Institutes of Yellow Education.’

The proposal is in recognition of the two universities’ consistent support for the political opposition in the Philippines, especially the Yellow Cult.

”The two universities have frequently opened their doors to the Liberal Party and other Opposition groups in their continuing quest to attack the Duterte Administrationa and the legacy of Ferdinand E. Marcos,” Aquino said.

De La Salle was the venue for yesterday’s commemoration by Opposition groups of the imposition of Martial Law by the late Marcos.

Leni Robredo was the featured speaker at the event in which she criticized Duterte’s support for a shift to a Federal form of government.  Robredo equated Federalism to abandoning Democracy and the Constitution.

Raïssa Robles To Sue Vice President Leni Robredo For Plagiarism

77F0D51D-AFC2-4F54-89DF-641018B873E0MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Remember when now Senate President Tito Sotto was accused, no less than by the Kennedy Estate, of plagiarism for copying a speech of Robert Kennedy?

Well now, Vice President Leni Robredo is being sued for plagiarism by self-proclaimed investigative journalist Raïssa Robles.

Robles, who authored a book titled ‘Marcos Martial Law: Never Again,’ calls Robredo a copycat and a plagiarist.

Robredo, in a speech commemorating the imposition of Martial Law by then President Ferdinand E. Marcos, mimicked Robles’  copyrighted phrase, “Never Again.”

”She didn’t even have the common courtesy to ask my permission to use the phrase in her speech” Robles told The Adobo Chronicles.
