MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – At the top of his State of the Nation Address (SONA) last Monday, President Rodrigo Duterte boasted of his 3% disapproval rating among Filipinos — that’s just 3 out of every 100 Filipinos.
Duterte was quoting the latest poll by Pulse Asia, the same survey that found Vice President Leno Robredo’s disapproval rating at 24%.
Today, Duterte named 3 Filipinos who disapprove of his performance: Risa Hontiveros, Franklin Drilon and Kiko Pangilinan — the last three standing Opposition members of the Senate.
Tomorrow, the President said he will name another three, this time from the biased local mainstream media. Could these be Maria Ressa, Ellen Tordesillas and Inday Espina-Varona?

The incoming Secretary? None other than Queen of All Media (and sister of ex-President NoyNoy) Kris Aquino.
In a post folloiwng Duterte’s Fourth State of the Nation Address (SONA), Aquino expressed her admiration for the President whom she described as authentic and worth emulating.
Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said Aquino has done more than PCOO in promoting the President’s programs and policies as well as in combating gross misinformation in the international media than Andanar and his highly-paid team.
Panelo said that Kris is the most qualified to head the PCOO because of her all-around media expertise. “She’s not called ‘Queen of All Media’ for nothing,” he added.
