The Circus Game Called Quadcom

Congress’ Quadcom has mastered the art of playing safe — or as they like to call it, “strategic neutrality” — in what’s turning out to be the most chaotic circus game of all time.

They’re juggling public pressure, legal pretensions, and the looming specter of Rodrigo Duterte, whose admissions on the Davao Death Squad have been blasted across livestreams, social media, and every nook of the internet.

Yet, Quadcom now declares it won’t provide transcripts to the International Criminal Court. Bravo! Such bold cowardice deserves a standing ovation.

Let’s be clear: Quadcom has no power to convict Duterte. Their hearings are like a barking dog with no bite. But their refusal to hand over transcripts is peak comedy. Do they think the ICC’s lawyers are fumbling interns who can’t download a YouTube video? The hearings are already public, with Duterte himself owning responsibility in full cinematic glory. Yet Quadcom clutches those transcripts like an ace up its sleeve, forgetting they’re playing a game where the cards are face-up.

The legislators’ game is a farce, one where the stakes are real lives and justice. But why risk clarity when you can straddle the line, look busy, and avoid accountability? A circus, indeed — with Quadcom as its timid clowns.
