In a stunning turn of events, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) has demanded that the contractor responsible for the much-criticized MRT wheelchair ramp either repair it or face reparation charges.

This comes after a wave of public outrage over the ramp’s impractical design, which some have likened to an obstacle course for extreme sports enthusiasts.

In a hastily convened conference, MRT management announced that the contractor had submitted an updated plan to address the outcry.
