SAN FRANCISCO, California (The Adobo Chronicles, San Francisco Bureau) – While (the former) Twitter continues to offer the verified check mark to its account holders, it has yet to obtain a check mark from the City and County of San Francisco.

San Francisco authorities have issued a Notice of Violation (NOV) to X, for putting up its new logo atop its headquarters on Market Street.

Existing codes require businesses to secure a permit before making any changes to existing buildings, including facades and signage.

Efforts by city building code enforcers to inspect the new construction failed twice because they were denied access to the building.

X may have violated SF’s community standards!
