DAVAO CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Davao Bureau) – They’re probably the closest confidants of former Rodrigo Duterte, but this time, they were asked by the former Philippine president to leave him alone.

They — Senators Bong Go and Bato dela Rosa — have strongly suggested that Duterte be appointed as President Bongbong Marcos’ Drug Czar (read: to continue the bloody war on drugs).

In response, Duterte said that Marcos is now the president and should be given full support to pursue his own anti-drug campaign.
