MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau – Now that Senator Bong Go has formally filed his withdrawal of his candidacy for president, he says he is donating his votes to Vice President and presidential aspirant Leni Robredo.
Go told The Adobo Chronicles that he was doing this for humanitarian reasons. ”Bongbong Marcos doesn’t need my votes. The surveys show he is going to be a runaway winner,” he added.
In the latest Publicus Asia poll, Marcos further increased his lead while Robredo’s numbers slid. Go, on the other hand, had a measly 3.9% which all but approximates the survey’s margin of error of plus or minus 3%.

“Robredo needs my votes in order for her to save some face, and I’m happy to transfer mine to her. After all, she is the Vice President,” said Go.
