QUEZON CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Quezon City Bureau) – Philippine Vice President Leni Robredo is deeply disappointed that she wasn’t awarded the 2021 Nobel Prize for Economics.
The awards were announced yesterday.

Office of the Vice President Spokesperson Barry Gutierrez told The Adobo Chronicles said that Robredo was confident she woukd be recognized for her economic programs for the country’s laylayan (poor and disenfranchised), including her signature spaghetti distribution program and express Covid vaccination program using doses procured by the Duterte government.
She was also invited to speak at the London School of Economics in 2018.
This would have been the country’s second Nobel Prize after businesswoman Maria Ressa won the Nobel Peace Prize for her made-up stories on press freedom in the Philippines.
Well, better luck next time, Madam.
