Donald Trump Goes Into Seclusion in Oval Office!

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – CNN has called the Georgia Senatorial race in favor of Democrat Raphael Warnock while it is expected to do the same for Democrat Jon Ossoff in the hours to come.

An Ossoff win all but puts both Houses of the U.S. Congress under the control of the Democrats.

That’s very very bad news for President Donald Trump who has not even recovered from the shock of his life, having lost the Presidency to Joe Biden.

Consistent with his erratic behavior and his childish predisposition to reject any suggestion or reality of his being a loser, Trump has reportedly gone into seclusion in the Oval Office, refusing to talk to anyone, not even the First Lady.

It wasn’t clear whether Trump’s action consists of a hunger strike. It’s bad enough that he lost his race. A Republican loss in the Georgia Senatorial race could only add insult to injury.

This is a developing story.

Donald Trump Does A ‘Hello, Garci’

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – About 3 p.m. on January 2, President Trump held an hour-long call with Brad Raffensperger, Georgia’s secretary of state, in which he repeatedly urged him to alter the outcome of the presidential vote in the state. “I just want to find 11,780 votes,” he told Raffensperger.

While many Americans were shocked and angered upon release of a recording of that call, Filipinos merely shrugged it off, saying that Trump lacked originality. They said former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo did it first, in what is now known as the “Hello Garci” scandal.

The scandal and crisis began in June 2005 when audio recordings of a phone call conversation between President Arroyo and then Election Commissioner Virgilio Garcillano, allegedly talking about the rigging of the 2004 national election results, were released to the public. (Arroyo subsequently admitted and apologized for making that call.)

Well, the one big difference between the two calls is that Arroyo won the Presidency in that election; Trump loses the Presidency as of January 20.
