MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – In his address to the Filipino nation last night, Rodrigo Duterte revealed that he had offered to resign as President of the Philippines because he was sick and tired of corruption.

Vice President Leni Robredo wasted no time and asked her spokesperson, Barry Gutierrez, to prepare her Presidential acceptance speech.

”Please immediately draft my address to the nation so we could go on Facebook Live as soon as possible,” she told Gutierrez.

However, Gutierrez informed Robredo that Duterte also announced that Facebook will be banned in the Philippines.

So what gives?
