MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Rappler thought it had scored a scoop and some breaking news when it posted a story on the new Otso Diretso ad which, for the first time, features all eight of the Opposition Coalition’s senatorial slate.  Previously, Mar Roxas was missing from all publicity photos of the eight senator wanna-bes.

But somehow, somewhere, a computer glitch happened.

The ad that Rappler published on its online site showed a photo of the 8 Opposition senators.  The Ad was titled ‘Otso Diretso.’  However, the tagline used underneath the photo read “Stray 8.”

The original ad copy’s tagline was “Straight 8.”

Is this a case of Rappler, or the Opposition senators having gone a-stray?
