QUEZON CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Quezon City Bureau) – If Senator Antonio Trillanes did it, why can’t Representative Imelda Marcos?
Many will recall that in the weeks following President Rodrigo Duterte’s issuance of Proclamation 572, which revoked his amnesty, Trillanes sought refuge inside the Senate Building in anticipation of his arrest.
Now, Marcos is reportedly preparing to move into the Batasang Pambansa after the Sandigang Bayan convicted her on seven counts of Graft and ordered her arrest.
Speaking to The Adobo Chronicles, the former First Lady said she was quite comfortable making the Batasan her home. “After all, it was built by my husband, the late Ferdinand,” she added.
Unconfirmed reports say that Mrs. Marcos has engaged the services of a well-known interior decorator to redo her office in the Batasan.

The place was memorable to her but she suffer in her own risk.Mrs Marcos says that her husband build the batasan but it was not fair enough to stay because she has done nothing for batasang pambansa.

In her case, she should suffer for what she did. Its not fair that she will stay in the Batasang pambansa. She also did something wrong so she must put into jail.

It was a memorable place for imelda Marcos but still she’s guilty on what she did. and I dont think It was really nice at all.

That’s not the right thing to do/ to say, in fact we all know that if you make wrong things ,you should know the outcome. Even though her husband build it , she cant change what happen next .

It’s not even better, still she’s on accusation though it was a safe and memorable place for her. And just to say I think for a person who did something wrong and charge as guilty it’s is more likely called a jail. 🙄

What is the use of her being arrested? It seems like she is not a person serving a prison sentence. There is no hardship after all. #justsaying
