MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – It is estimated that 53.8% of Filipino males and 46.2% of Filipino females have never been married. That’s a huge population of singles in the country.

Now, singles are under attack in Metro Manila!

In a desperate attempt to finally solve the nightmarish traffic in the Metropolis, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is proposing to ban single car drivers on EDSA during rush hours.

An MMDA spokesperson told The Adobo Chronicles that this brilliant plan will decongest Metro Manila’s main thoroughfare by almost 50%.

Why didn’t anybody think of this before?
