MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – If there is one characteristic that Maria Lourdes Sereno possesses, it is the fact that no one can mess with her, not even former Solicitor General FT Hilbay.

In a statement on the Supreme Court  decision to oust Sereno from the post of Chief Justice, Hilbay said that the non-filing of SALNs is laziness, not lack of integrity.

That didn’t sit well with Sereno who accused Hilbay of calling her a “lazy b*tch.’  So she is suing Hlbay for libel.

This will go down in Philippine history as the clash of an ex-Solicitor General and an ex-Supreme Court Justice.
