Duterte Went Off Script In PMA Graduation Speech

A21B5FDE-5BB1-4E43-A3DE-977AD63D2B09BAGUIO CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Baguio Bureau) – President Rodrigo Duterte is known to often go off-script when reading his prepared speeches.  His speech at last weekend’s graduation ceremonies of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) was no exception.

Last year, Duterte failed to address and acknowledge Vice President Leni Robredo who was also present at the PMA graduation ceremonies.  So this year, his speechwriter made sure that he acknowledged the presence of Robredo.

But alas,  Duterte went off script again right at the beginning of his speech.

In acknowledging Robredo, Duterte addressed her as the “outgoing Vice President of the Philippines.

Unfortunately, the incoming VP, Bongbong Marcos, was not present at the ceremonies.
