MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – In a lecture before senior high school students of the University of Santo Tomas, Vice President Leni Robredo suggested that Filipino youth should be banished to Hawaii, just like the late President Ferdinand E. Marcos.

Robredo was asked to share her thoughts and experiences regarding the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution that toppled the regime of Marcos, forcing him out of the country to an exile in Hawaii.

In her lecture, Robredo said of the People Power Revolution:
