MANILA, Philippines  (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Vice President Leni Robredo’s Angat Buhay program has provided assistance to more than 36,000 indigents, according to her spokesperson.

Georgina Hernandez said 22,275 families in 134 local government units benefited from the program.

“We’re proud of what we’ve achieved. But we all know we cannot rest. Much more needs to be done because…many…Filipinos continue to be left out,” Robredo said in a statement.

That’s right, many — make that most — Filipinos are left behind each time the Vice President travels abroad.
