DAVAO CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Philippines President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has once again grabbed international news headlines after he was quoted saying that during his time as mayor of Davao City, he personally killed three people in connection with his war on drugs.

Of course, there is no evidence to his claim.  We just need to take his word for it, and that’s what the news media is doing.

Today, in an exclusive interview with The Adobo Chronicles, Duterte named the three people he killed: Dr. Jose Rizal, General Emilio Aguinaldo and Andres Bonifacio.
