MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Yesterday, the online Philippines news site, Rappler, published a story on efforts to clamp down on misinformation and “fake news” on the Internet.
Rappler reported that social media giants Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter have joined forces with some of the biggest media groups in the world in the First Draft partner network, a collaboration hoping to tackle the Internet’s biggest problem: the unabated spread of misinformation.
Filipino netiziens immediately took to their social media accounts to comment on the Rappler story.
Many netizens commented: “Goodbye, Rappler!”

I wrote to the president of the Philipines about my fiancée who is a maid in Malasia who is from the Philipines who is being abuse yet he will not answer my email and to help her I feel he is not a good president as he doesn’t care about his people who elected him
