THE VATICAN  (The Adobo Chronicles, Berlin Bureau) – Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan met with Pope Francis at The Vatican today.

It was described as a very cordial meeting.

Zuckerberg gave the Pontiff a drone as a gift and invited the head of the Roman Catholic Church to open a Facebook account.

Pope Francis politely declined, saying that he is happy with his Twitter and Instagram accounts at the moment.

The Pople has about 9 million followers on Twitter and 1.4 million on Instagram.
