IDIOTORIAL: The Media Got It All Wrong About Trump and Duterte

The Philippines’ Rodrigo Duterte and America’s Donald Trump. The media have put them both in the same category: rogue candidates.

Trump is the presumptive Republican presidential nominee while Duterte could be elected president of the Philippines in a matter of hours.

Both unconventional when faced by questions from the media.  Both have shocked the electorate with their kind of politics and campaign rhetoric.

Because of the pararellism between the two candidates, the media have labeled Duterte as the Donald Trump of the Philippines.

We think the media are wrong in their analysis.  It is the other way around: Trump is the Rodrigo Duterte of America.

The only difference: Duterte is genuine; Trump is fake.

We urge the media to refrain from using their flawed comparison and give Duterte his due.

  1. The only idiot is the writer of this “article” who has resorted to writing rants as opposed to actually stating reasons why Duterte is “geniune” or that the media is “wrong in their analysis.” News site my ass.

  2. Trump’s plans are doable while most of Duterte’s plans are not doable, and unrealistic. Trump has a nice family with good family values. Duterte’s family especially his daughter Sara punched a Sheriff 4 time and got away with it. If anyone punches a Sheriff in the United States, that anyone will be arrested and straight to jail. Duterte was diagnosed with“ Antisocial Narcissistic Personality Disorder” that include “Immediate gratification of his needs and desires is always expected; any delay can upset him a great deal,” the assessment said. Psychological Diagnose: Can the average person stomach a Psychopath in Malacanang? Plus a disgnated First Lady like his daughter Sara who will punch your lights out anytime she wants to do it for others like when she punched Sheriff Andres in Davao. Well here is the psychopath part of Duterte who was diagnosed with “Antisocial Narcissistic Personality Disorder” that include “Immediate gratification of his needs and desires is always expected; any delay can upset him a great deal,” the assessment said.
