MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Presidential candidate Senator Grance Poe’s son, Brian Llamanzares, recently drew flak online for posting on his Instagram a picture of him wearing a pair of shoes worth an estimated $19,999.99 on eBay. It was supposed to be a 2011 Limited Edition Nike Mag 10 Back to thie Future Martyi McFly shoes.

Today, Llamanzares apologized for what many thought was an inappropriate display of extravagance for someone whose mother is running for president of the Philippines.  He said, however, that it cost him P10,000 of his own money, or roughly $225.

Apparently, it wasn’t the Limited Edition that netizens were raving about.

Well, now, Llamanzares’ critics are calling him out for displaying fake Nike’s.
