CHAPPAQUA, New York (The Adobo Chronicles) – It’s 19 months till the 2016 U.S. presidential elections, and candidates are starting to declare their intentions to seek their party’s nomination to be the next White House occupant.
First, it was Ted Cruz. Then Rand Paul. Both Republican.
Although it is pretty much a given that Hillary Clinton will be the Democratic nominee, the former First Lady, Senator from New York and Secretary of State has not officially declared her candidacy. Until now.
The anticipation is over. Today, standing with husband Bill and daughter Chelsey in front of the Clinton residence in Chappaqua, New York, Hillary declared:
‘I will make the announcement when I am ready.’
Immediately, speculation spread on social media that Bill Clinton will be Hillary’s campaign manager and Chelsey her communications director.
