DAVAO CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – It is no secret that Philippine presidential candidate Rodrigo Duterte has his way with women. The Davao City mayor has publicly acknowledged that he has two wives and two girl friends.
Wherever Duterte goes, he is mobbed by women who compete for his attention and kisses.
The latest Adobo Chronicles poll shows that Duterte now has the support of more than 80% of all likely women voters. However, it is not because of the mayor himself. Rather it is because of his son, Sebastian, known as Baste.
Baste, 28, has finally stepped into the campaign trail for his dad, and women are oogling over his good looks and macho aura. His latest campaign appearance was in Hong Kong (see photo above).
Women netizens are going crazy. If only they would see Baste more often if he takes up residence at Malacañang (the presidential palace), the women said they would go all the way to vote for Duterte.
In the meantime, frontrunner candidate Senator Grace Poe is seriously considering tapping her son, Brian Llamanzares, also known for his good looks, to try to win back the women vote.
MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Previously, The Adobo Chronicles launched a poll on which First Lady or First Gentlemen Filipino voters would like to see in Malacañang, the presidential palace. Readers can still participate in the poll
MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – On May 9, 2016, Filipinos will troop to the polls to elect their next president from among incumbent Vice President Jejomar Binay, former Interior Secretary Mar Roxas, Senators Grace Poe and Miriam Defensor-Santiago and Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.
