MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Call it destiny, but sometimes, your chosen career isn’t really meant for you. But there are always greener pastures.

Case in point: Richard Heydarian wasn’t clicking much as self-appointed political analyst, despite having the looks and aura of a movie star.

Well the stars finally aligned for Heydarian. He has just bagged two major roles with Disney films: as Ariel in the LGBT remakes of ‘The Little Mermaid,’ and as ‘Moana’ in the popular Pacific animated movie.
