In a post, Twitter (now X) owner Elon Musk reaffirmed his commitment to free speech and vowed to fire his employees who do not subscribe to this basic principle.

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – To ensure that all examinees for this year’s bar exams are sober, Manila Mayor Maria Sheilah “Honey” Lacuna-Pangan issued an executive order shutting down Manila bars before and during the exam dates.
The mayor hopes that by imposing a liquor ban, the passing rate for the aspiring lawyers will be higher this year.
In addition to the liquor ban, the E.O. also prohibits ambulatory vendors from selling their goods within 500 meters of the bar exam venues. This is to prevent scammers from selling to examinees cheat sheets disguised as siopao (Chinese buns) or turon (Filipino banana egg rolls).
