Today’s Editorial: People Born Without A Funny Bone

In a world brimming with humor, there exists a peculiar breed of individuals, the tragically humorless. These unfortunate souls were evidently born with a genetic defect that omitted their funny bone. Their laughter is as elusive as a unicorn in a desert, and their idea of comedy is about as exciting as watching paint dry in slow motion.

While the rest of us revel in witty banter, these individuals appear to be trapped in a perpetual game of “Guess the Punchline.” They in constant search of “substance.” What substance are they inhaling?

It’s a real-life tragicomedy, watching them navigate a humor-filled world, as they respond to jokes with a blank stare or, at best, a polite, “I don’t get it.”

In an age where memes rule and stand-up comedy is a religion, the humor-challenged populace remains an enigma. Are they aliens from a distant planet with no concept of humor? Or perhaps they’re undercover agents on a mission to suck the fun out of life, one joke at a time.

While we may never truly understand the plight of those born without a funny bone, one thing is clear: they’ve unwittingly become walking, talking cautionary tales. In their presence, we learn to cherish our humor, for it’s a gift we should never take for granted. After all, in a world full of laughter, being born without a funny bone is the ultimate cosmic punchline.

China Looks After Safety Of Filipino Fishermen In South China Sea

AYUNGIN SHOAL, South China Sea (The Adobo Chronicles, Marine Bureau) – In an apparent display of goodwill and concern, China has declared that the mysterious floating barriers recently erected in the South China Sea are actually giant pool noodles designed for the safety and protection of Filipino fishermen.

According to Beijing, these colossal noodles will serve as makeshift lifebuoys in case Filipino fishing boats capsize in bad weather, ensuring that the fishermen have something to cling on to while awaiting rescue.

Critics have suggested that it’s just China’s creative way of expanding its territorial grasp while doubling as a bizarre aquatic amusement park.

Nevertheless, China’s commitment to Filipino fishermen’s safety is as clear as the South China Sea’s murky waters.
