Rodrigo Duterte Defends Bongbong Marcos!

Former President Rodrigo Duterte has come to the defense of Bongbong Marcos about the latter’s campaign promise to bring the retail price of rice to P20 per kilo!

Well, not really. But Duterte defended his own promise to the Filipino people that he will hop on a jet ski and sail to the West Philippine sea to defend the Philippines’ territorial waters which to date he has not fulfilled. He called those who believed him then “stupid.”

Same banana. Marcos exonerated!

The Dutertes: He Said, She Said!

Ah, the Duterte siblings—Sara and Baste—proving once again that politics makes for the best family drama. While most siblings argue about who ate the last slice of cake, these two are debating democracy itself.

On one side, we have Mayor Baste, commemorating EDSA like a history teacher who actually cares, reminding us of unity and the fight for democracy. On the other, we have Vice President Sara, rolling her eyes at the “yellow narrative,” as if history were just another brand of laundry detergent forced upon us.

Is this a case of “blood is thinner than water”? Or is it just a classic Duterte move—keep everyone guessing while keeping the conversation heated? Either way, one thing’s clear: in the House of Duterte, unity is optional, but keeping people talking is mandatory. Maybe this is the real People Power—getting Filipinos to argue about EDSA all over again.
