A Wasted Opportunity For Gretchen Ho

Gretchen Ho’s remark labeling Jo Koy’s hosting of the Golden Globes as a “wasted opportunity” has sparked an unexpected backlash, redirecting the spotlight onto Ho herself. The irony lies in the fact that she critiques a missed chance while her own statement becomes a missed opportunity for self-awareness. Ho’s inability to handle the ensuing criticism, evident in her decision to disable comments, reflects a lack of resilience in the face of public opinion.

Disabling comments not only shields Ho from accountability but also stifles the potential for constructive dialogue and personal growth. In a media landscape where instant feedback is both inevitable and valuable, this move seems counterproductive.

Another local TV host aptly points out that disabling comments is a squandered chance to learn from a misguided comment. In the end, Ho’s critique of missed opportunities inadvertently circles back to her, emphasizing the importance of embracing feedback for personal and professional development. After all, Ho is not even close to the league that Jo Koy belongs to.

Former Broadcaster Jay Sonza Turning Soothsayer

In the ever-entertaining circus of career transformations, Jay Sonza emerges as the maestro, orchestrating a symphony of absurdity.

From the solemn corridors of broadcast journalism, he pirouetted into the whimsical world of blogging, where profound thoughts were replaced with clickbait in the pursuit of digital stardom.

Then, as the consultant for the beleaguered SMNI news network, he offered sage advice akin to a toddler wielding a toy hammer in a construction site.

Now, in an unparalleled feat of metamorphosis, Sonza dons the glittering robes of Madam Auring, the self-proclaimed soothsayer of seismic events. Forget meteorologists and seismologists; why bother with science when you can have the clairvoyant prowess of a former journalist? It’s a spectacle that makes Nostradamus look like an amateur.

Perhaps, in this era of unpredictability, we should all turn to our screens for guidance from the oracle of sensationalism. After all, who needs facts when you can have a weather forecast delivered with the flair of a carnival fortune teller?

“Karambola sa DWIZ” Reinvents Itself!

Rumors are swirling about the alleged firing of Atty. Trixie Cruz-Angeles from the DWIZ program “Karambola.”

While Atty. Trixie insisted she’s just on a month-long vacation, the show’s new banner tells a different tale. The lone female host is conspicuously absent from the updated promotional materials, and the show has undergone a rebranding to better reflect its content and host opinions.

Say goodbye to “Karambola” and hello to “KARAMBOLA-BOLA sa DWIZ.”

The revamped title seems more fitting, as sources suggest that the discussions have taken a more theatrical turn, resembling less of a legal discourse and more of a circus performance.

Perhaps the absence of Atty. Trixie is an attempt to balance the scales of rationality, or maybe it’s just an elaborate magic trick to make the audience believe the show is still worth tuning in. Either way, it looks like DWIZ is embracing the “bola” with open arms.
