MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Film director, producer and writer Vince Tañada says he has no future in the big screen industry and is throwing in the towel.
After continued dismal showing of his films, the latest being “Ako Si Ninoy,” Tañada has decided to focus on his law practice:

Considering the bad reviews and box office flops of the two films, the 5-star rating given by AC is considered generous — out of a possible 20 stars, that is!
MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Only in the Philippines: a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) is filed to try to block the screening of a Ninoy Aquino film, ‘Martyr Or Murderer (MoM,)’ while the director of rival flick ‘Ako Si Ninoy (AsN)’ wants to block his own movie.
Vince Tañada, writer and director of AsN appealed to his sprinkling of fans and supporters to block the film from being shown in cinemas.
Tañada issued his appeal on his social media account which was quickly picked up by the biased news media:
