- Anti-Marcos transgender blogger Sass Rogando Sasot has called out her critics for using a photo of her dead brother to portray her when she has not yet transitioned. We, at The Adobo Chronicles, have, unfortunately, done the same, and we apologize.
But in the interest of truth and accuracy, we are now re-publishing a post by no less than Sasot herself where she included a self photo before she transitioned. The fact remains that she was a man before she became a woman. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
We just hope that Sasot will also stand for truth and accuracy when blogging about the politicians she criticizes, notably the Marcoses. We have known her to be more respectable and smart than the likes of Maharlika whom she now allies with to spread disinformation about the Philippine government which she had hoped, but failed to be part of.
To be respected, one must also learn to respect.
