An Ode To Paid Vloggers

Oh, behold the vlogger, noble and shrewd,

A chameleon wrapped in clickbait’s crude hue.

From left to right, they sway with ease,

Their loyalty tied to whoever pays fees.

One day a patriot, fierce and devout,

Next, a critic, casting loyalists out.

Preaching to choirs or sparking dissent,

Their sermons are shaped by who’ll pay the rent.

Truth? A quaint relic, a bothersome chore,

When outrage and drama unlock the store.

Their gospel isn’t justice, honor, or pride,

It’s views, it’s shares, it’s metrics worldwide.

“Engagement is king!” they gleefully crow,

Whether fueled by love or vitriolic woe.

For every triggered comment, every fiery spat,

Is another sweet cha-ching in their digital hat.

So here’s to the vlogger, the mercenary bard,

Flipping convictions isn’t really that hard.

For in their cathedral of ad revenue,

The only belief? “What’s in it for you?”
