Ah, the Maisug Rally in Japan on June 8th—a dazzling display of local talent because, apparently, importing acts from the Philippines was a budgetary stretch (no offense to our homegrown stars or local talent). 

The highlight? Speakers like Dr. Lorraine Badoy, Harry Roque, and Atty. Vic Rodriguez, who likely financed their own way there. Zoom speeches by Atty. Glenn Chong and Maharlika graced the event—either due to financial constraints or the mysterious, elusive nature of Japanese visas.

And the audience? A triumph in compactness, filling less than a third of the small theater, with ample room for everyone to move comfortably on stage for a groupie.

Bravo, Maisug! Truly, an event for the ages, where enthusiasm and minimalism met in perfect, albeit sparsely attended, harmony.
