In a dazzling turn of events, Miss Universe Philippines 2024 has sashayed into the Guinness World Records for the longest beauty pageant ever, spanning a record-breaking two days. The coronation night, commencing on Wednesday, May 22, and concluding on Thursday, May 23, left audiences both bedazzled and bedraggled.

Organizers also proudly announced their second record: the most number and the longest short commercial breaks in beauty pageant history. The marathon event featured an array of 60-second ads that stretched into 10-minute sagas, causing viewers to wonder if they had mistakenly tuned into a telethon.

Rumors abound that next year’s pageant will include nap breaks and popcorn refills, ensuring viewers are as fresh as the contestants’ makeup.

In a statement, the winner Chelsea Manalo of Bulacan province, still visibly jet-lagged, quipped, “I just want to thank the sponsors… and my patience.” Indeed, Miss Universe Philippines 2024 has proven that beauty, like a good WiFi signal, requires endurance.
