In the realm of cyberspace, where opinions roam free,
Pro-Duterte netizens, with fervor, decree.
They repost with gusto, each quote and each meme,
Thinking it praises their idol, their esteemed.
But oh, how they falter, in their blind admiration,
For the jabs they applaud, fuel their own vexation.
They share without reading, without pause or reflection,
Unaware it’s their leader facing the deflection.
“You’re so vain,” rings the chorus, in satirical delight,
As they champion Duterte, in their digital fight.
But the joke’s on them, as they fail to see through,
The irony of it all, as they misconstrue.
So they march on unknowing, in their online parade,
Championing a cause, so woefully mislaid.
Oh, Duterte’s disciples, how little they knew,
The joke was on them, all along, so true.
