MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Rumors have it that Senator Imee Marcos is preparing to file grave threat charges against former Miss International (and former Mrs. Manotoc) Aurora Pijuan for a tweet she posted on her social media account.

A threat is a threat is a threat, and is punishable under Article 282 of the Philippine Constitution. It doesn’t matter if the threat is carried out or not. Any succeeding disclaimer accompanying the threat does not cancel accountability.

Is this going to be a court battle between two Manotocs? Interestingly, the case will be titled “Manotoc vs. Manotoc.”
