
MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – It was a brilliantly-designed logo that Malacañang released yesterday — representing the President’s rebranding of government service under his new administration.
“Bagong Pilipinas” (New Philippines) immediately received praise and positive response, unlike the controversial “Love The Philippines” slogan of the Department of Tourism, or the irrelevant (and some say “plagiarized”) new logo of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).
But alas, some palace intern committed a grave error by spelling “Bagong Pilipinas” as “Bagoong Pilipinas”
Was the intern craving for bagoong Iloko when she slipped into the typo?
